Awards keep coming for Bray Leino

15 October 2007

Having won seven national accolades at the prestigious 2006 Fresh Awards Grand Prix in May, Bray Leino has again been recognised for its creative ingenuity and innovation. Bray Leino's Bristol office has received six awards at the Fresh Awards 2007 ceremony in Manchester for its work with Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity, and a series of religious-themed adverts created to promote this year's Fresh Awards.

The Sustrans campaign included a magazine advert depicting a car tax disc bearing the words ‘Tax your thighs instead' and a mocked-up £50 note that could be inserted in car fuel filler caps to encourage people to consider the savings that could be made by choosing to cycle instead of driving.

The Fresh Award adverts used a ‘ten commandments theme' to encourage creative agencies to put their most recent work forward for judging, and played on the ‘deadly sins of advertising', including ‘Thou shalt not covert thy first idea' and "Thou shalt not commit adultery with thy judges. The agency was given the accolade of creating the adverts having impressed the organisers with its success at the 2006 Grand Prix.

Richard Kramer, Bristol creative director, said: "To be recognised again by our peers for creative excellence is a fantastic testament to the hard work, vision and of course, talent of our team. It's also a great feeling to know that we're delivering highly effective campaigns for our clients. The only downside is that we're starting to run out of space to display our trophies. I guess we need a bigger mantelpiece".
